Buddha means enlightened. Buddhasana is a continuation of Skandasana.
Technique for Buddhasana
- From Skandasana with the left leg placed on the back of the neck, inhale and raise the head and trunk up.
- Hold the left ankle with the left hand and lower the leg still further.
- Raise the right arm from the shoulder, move it sideways and tum the forearm back to bring it over the left ankle from above the left foot.
- Stay in the pose for about I 5 seconds with deep breathing. Inhale, lift up the head and trunk.
